    Description

    The position is a part of Virtual Medical Staff and is NOT A REMOTE position. This role is responsible for facilitating and accelerating the implementation of physician services in terms of privileging (provider credentialing). This person must be able to manage a broad scope of activities in order to meet predetermined project deadlines that directly relates to the success of a contract.

    Responsibilities

    -Facilitating credentialing/privileging efforts for the organization.

    -Participate in strategy development and implementation process improvement.

    -Day to day activities include the following:

    - Credentialing/Privileging of physicians

    -Direct communication with physicians and health systems

    -Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with current clients.

    -Prepares for and attends weekly meetings to provide physician coordinators updates.

    -Continue to grow knowledge and understanding of telemedicine rules and regulations as they relate to privileging and ability to deliver clinical services.

     

    Requirements

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor degree preferred and/or relevant work experience.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Salesforce knowledge a plus.

     

    SKILLS/ABILITIES: 

    • Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with persons throughout an organization, including clinicians.
    • Project management skills and well organized.
    • Able to assist, direct, and coordinate others.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Knowledge of the process and tools for capturing, organizing, and using individual and departmental intellectual assets, such as competencies, best practices, etc.
